To feel better, to look better, and to stay well!
They're the main reasons, and most of this site (soon at least) elaborates on those three benefits in an attempt to get you to try it.
What I love most about the Zone is the control it gives me over how I feel! I think the long term benefits are wonderful too, but I love knowing I can be alert and full of energy whenever I want. Sometimes I care about chocolate mousse more than mental focus, but the Zone is always ready when I need it.
Weight loss is really only a side effect of the Zone - good health was definitely the force motivating Dr Sears - but vanity does seem to be the force driving most of us to try it.
Good health. What does that mean to you? For many it's merely the absence of disease and illness. Those of us in the Zone know that true health encompasses so much more, yet the freedom from illness is still an essential foundation. For some people disease is a constant source of pain and suffering - simply not being sick would be a great improvement to their quality of life. One of the marvels of the Zone is that it reduces our risk of falling sick.
Why are we told to eat lots of complex carbohydrates and yet avoid sugary foods when our bodies can't tell the difference? I definitely don't know.
Find out how much sugar there is in a handful of pasta.
is usually the biggest of the site, but my apologies there's not much here now while I fix it just right.
