Microgenics omega-3 fish oil is molecularly distilled and comes in 1 gram capsules that contain 180mg of EPA and 120mg of DHA, with some vitamin E as a preservative.
Carlson Health in Melbourne source this oil from American company Cardinal Health and market it under 3 brands: Biodesign and Vitaplex as well as Microgenics. I'm not sure how they can provide this molecularly distilled oil for the same price as normal health grade oil but until I find out otherwise it's my choice to sell.
Microgenics now produce fish oil that "has been blended with a small amount of pure orange oil to vastly reduce the potential for reflux or 'repeating' some people experience."
I can't tell the difference but I don't tend to burp up the Microgenics oil anyway.
Apart from the orange oil the capsules and fish oil are exactly the same.
$20 for a 200 capsule bottle - both types. You can order here.
You may find Biodesign and Microgenics oil cheaper elsewhere, www.MrVitamins.com.au offer bulk discounts.
